All A.A. members are welcome and encouraged to attend this meeting and may speak with the permission of the chair, after all voting members have spoken, however, they do not have a vote.

The purpose of the regular monthly meeting is to share our combined experiences in Committee work throughout Area 82 with the goals of :
- Keeping the Area 82 membership informed of Service Committee activities Area wide
- Identifying opportunities where we (as an Area) can better carry the AA Recovery message
- Helping new committees during their formation (both materially and with experience)
- Sharing Service ideas from the more experienced folks in Districts where Committees are well established

Regional Forum events allow members throughout the service structure to
exchange information. They bring together:

* A.A. members

* Trusted servants
Started in 1975, these unique gatherings happen four times a year. Each
forum occurs in one of the eight regions of the U.S. or Canada that has
extended an invitation.
Forums offer unique opportunities for A.A. members across the U.S. and
Canada to connect with individuals involved in the A.A. service
structure.
